The till has to keep working
Point of sale, payment terminal and stock hang together. A shop that cannot take payment sends customers away, and they do not come back later that afternoon. We build these environments so that there is a way to keep selling even when part of the system is unavailable.
Stock in more than one place
Shop, warehouse and webshop should show the same stock. When they do not, you sell what you do not have. Usually that is not a fault in one system but a link between two that stopped running. We monitor those links so that a break is noticed the same day.
Wireless in a shop is not simple
Racking, mirrors, concrete and a building full of people do things to a signal. Add guest wifi that must stay strictly separate from your till network. We measure on site and separate the two properly, rather than putting everything on one network with one password.
Seasons and peaks
A shop has weeks in which everything has to work harder. We look at your peak rather than your average, because a system that is adequate in February is not automatically adequate in December.

Our point of sale comes from a supplier. What do you do?
Everything around it: the network, the internet connection, the workplaces, the backup and the security. When the till has a problem we work out whether it sits in the software or in the environment, so you are not sent back and forth.
Can guest wifi and the till network share one connection?
They can share the internet line, but not the network. We separate them so that a guest can never reach your business systems. That is a matter of setting it up properly, not of extra hardware.
We are open on Saturdays. Are you reachable then?
For outages, yes. Our office hours are weekdays from 08:30 to 17:30, but for businesses that trade at the weekend we are reachable outside them.
