This page explains in English how we handle personal data. The full statement is in Dutch and that version is the binding one.
Who we are

What we collect, and why
- Contact details you give us — name, company, e-mail address and telephone number, when you fill in a form or send us a message. We use these solely to answer your question and, if it leads to work, to carry out the assignment.
- Support reports — what you describe when you report a problem, so that we can resolve it and look back at what was done.
- Website statistics — only if you agree to this in the cookie notice. Say no and nothing is measured; the site works exactly the same.
- Data within the environments we manage — as an IT partner we have access to systems belonging to our clients. For that data our client is the controller and we act as processor, under a written agreement.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment are removed after two years. Data relating to work we carried out is kept for as long as the law requires for our administration, which is seven years for invoicing data. Support reports remain available for as long as they are useful for the maintenance of your environment.
Who else sees your data
Only parties we need in order to do our work: our hosting provider, our e-mail provider and the system we use to register support tickets. We have processing agreements with them. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
Our website places functional cookies that are needed for it to work. Anything beyond that — statistics — only happens after you click Ok in the cookie notice. Your choice is remembered for a year and you can change it by clearing the cookies for this site in your browser.
Your rights
You may ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or ask us to delete it. You may also object to its use or ask for a copy. Send your request to info@digisens.nl and we will respond within a month.
If you believe we are not handling your data properly, you may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security
Our site runs over an encrypted connection, access to our systems requires two-step verification, and we log who consults what. That is the same standard we set for the environments we manage for our clients.
